WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

The Wendover Action Group was founded in 1996 to provide help to local residents of Wendover and surrounding villages with door to door transport for those who had difficulty travelling.

We operate the Wendover Community Car. Many of our passengers can't easily use public transport. They may have limited mobility, use walking frames or just have difficulty with heavy shopping bags. We are delighted to help.

At the end of 2016 we became the beneficiaries of a Dpartment of Transport scheme to provide new vehicles for community transport groups aroud the UK. We are very grateful to Wendover Parish Council and The Lionel Abel Smith Trust for their help over the years.
